Glossary
The vocabulary of a frontier that runs on permission rather than distance.
- Scarcity System
- An arrangement that manufactures rarity by controlling route, timing, or permission rather than the material itself.
- Transfer Object
- A tool, idea, or authority handed from one trilogy — or one generation — to the next. The McGuffin that becomes inheritance.
- Emancipatory Tool
- Any technology that frees its first users and constrains its inheritors once its maintenance becomes mandatory.
- Route Permission
- The right to move along a corridor at a given time. The first and most quietly hoarded resource of the frontier.
- Orbital Bones
- Derelict infrastructure that continues to shape traffic and law long after its function and its treaties have died.
- Luminous Constraint
- Governance enforced by visibility rather than walls — control achieved by measuring every illuminated path.
- Gravitic Cradle
- A spin habitat that shelters a population until it begins to curate what "growth" is permitted to mean.
- Last Transfer
- The final handoff of the Cycle: not of power, but of restraint — the wisdom to withhold a tool until it is understood.
